#2284 - Geese are a common sight here in the Treasure Valley, but have you ever wondered why they’re here? During this presentation you’ll learn about migration habits and habitat of the snow goose, Ross’s goose, and the greater white-fronted goose. Afterwards, drive to the Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area in Parma and Roswell Marsh in Roswell for an easy observational walk. Sturdy shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing suggested.

#2285 - This class starts with a primer on Treasure Valley bird habitats and seasonal changes and ends with a field trip to Wilson Springs so you can put your new bird watching strategies and identification skills to work. Bring binoculars if you have them. The paths at Wilson Springs Ponds are paved and level for easy walking. Field Trip on March 17, 2018 requires Bird Watching Basics to be completed on March 16, 2018. March 16, 17
